Thailand / Laos

Coucou...

Alors, depuis le dernier message du cambodge nous avons pas mal bouge... Nous sommes revenus en Thailand ou nous avons passer quelques jours sur l'ile de Koh Chang dans une cabane en bambou dans les arbres... Paradisiac ! Ensuite nous sommes aller a Chiang Mai (nord) super sympa aussi. Les gens sont beaucoup plus relax dans le nord, ca fait du bien... La region de Chiang Mai etant remplis d'elephants, nous en avons profiter pour faire une journee de dressage d'elephant ! ENORME ! on a apris a monter dessus, le controler et le nourrir le matin, et l'aprem... youhouu c'est partit pour une ballade dans la jungle a dos (ou plutot a tete) d'elephant ! On se sent petit perche sur un animal de 7,5 tones! et inutile defois... Le mien avait la mani de derassiner des enormes bambou avec sa trompe, donc au debut j'essayais de l'arreter, mais bon je fesais pas le poid ! alors je l'ai laisser faire apres je criais juste "ATTENTION !" a chaque fois... Une journee memorable.

Sinon la on est a Chiang Rai (encore plus au nord) et pour la premiere fois du voyage : il fait frais ! Ce soir on pense meme mettre une petitre veste c'est vous dire s'il fait frais... Et apres demain on part au part au Laos...

Hello all

So, yep its been a bit of a long time since we last wrote.. because we have been having too much fun! Haha! I know, dont hate us too much, we will be returning to the cold soon!

So what news, what news?! Well, we have been beaching it up, soooo cool! Its so nice out here and we have been spending our time in the sea on beautiful beaches and staying in bamboo tree huts, pretty  nice really! Then amidst the onslaught of beach time, we have been scoot scooting around seeing waterfalls and generally just chilling out with a shake and a smile...

We have been in the lovely chang mai wch is very relaxed and even did a day on elephants where we learned how get on and off them... apparently they dont sit down for you.. who knew.. and turn left right etc.. abit like your first driving lesson,, no clue of really how to do it and im pretty sure the real elephant people did most of the controlling stuff but still loads of fun .. also the fact that we were dressed like the thai version of rambo helped us to get in the mood as well! then into the jungle on the head of these huge amazing beautiful (im abit in love with elephants as you can tell) creatures and it was very much like being in the jungle book! a real highlight of the trip.. then we even got to wash them.. ahh soo cool! and.. one more and about elephants,, we got a kiss from a baby elephant! ahhhhhh...

good times..

anyway, now we are in changrai and then onwards and literally upwards to laos for the 4th country of the trip... very exciting!

J'aime beaucoup la photo où vous êtes de chaque côté de l'éléphant. Les vêtements sont pas mal non plus (on dirait des jumeaux).
